Message From the Publisher: Why Dynamic Chiropractic Canada?

By Donald M. Petersen Jr., BS, HCD(hc), FICC(h), Publisher

For more than 25 years, Dynamic Chiropractic has made every effort to keep the chiropractic profession informed. Published every two weeks, DC provides essential news and information chiropractors use to make better choices for their practice and their future.

In the past, our circulation was worldwide, but our focus was largely U.S.

DC Canada represents a break from that tradition. DC Canada provides information about research, legislation and clinical practice specific to the Canadian chiropractic profession. Our columnists, contributors and reporters include Canadian DCs who are seasoned chiropractic veterans.

It is our goal to establish DC Canada as a separate publication with its own identity. However, that does not mean we will exclude perspectives and contributions from chiropractors worldwide. As has been the case with DC for more than 600 issues, we intend DC Canada to provide diverse perspectives that will help grow your practice and your profession.

As a Canadian chiropractor, you are invited to write articles, send e-mail and contribute your thoughts in a way that will generate meaningful dialogue for the profession. You are encouraged to access the publication Web site (, participate in the online polls and join the online discussion forums.

Even this column will be different. While I will be overseeing the publication of DC Canada, I am reserving this column space for the most pertinent opinions and comments by members of the Canadian chiropractic profession. Some will be recognized leaders of associations and organizations; others will be relatively unknown doctors who have something important to say that needs to be heard. Only occasionally will this column feature an article from me.

This is your publication. You are invited to participate in making it a tool for personal and professional growth and change.
